Landing pages (LPs) are focused web pages built for one specific purpose: conversion. Unlike your main website, which might have many links and distractions, a landing page removes the noise to guide your visitors toward a single action, such as signing up for a newsletter or downloading an ebook.
In Positive User, these pages are powerful because they are directly connected to your database. Every time a person fills out a form on your landing page, their information is instantly saved or updated in their contact profile, allowing your team to start personalized communication immediately.
A Landing Page (LP) is a hosted web page you build within Positive User using a drag-and-drop editor. It allows you to present a specific offer and collect information through customizable forms.
In the app, you can find this feature by navigating to "Website Experience" → "Landing Pages". Unlike a standard website page, a landing page in Positive User typically consists of two distinct parts: the main "Homepage" where the offer lives, and a "Thanks Page" that appears after a contact submits their data.
While every page looks different, the most successful ones share a common DNA. If you’re building a page in Positive User to collect data or drive a sale, make sure these five elements are included:
A Clear Headline: This is your "Unique Selling Proposition." Use a bold headline that tells the visitor exactly what they get and why it matters to them.
Hero Visuals: Use an image or video from your Media or upload one that represents your offer and evokes the right emotion or demonstrates your product in action.
Benefits Over Features: Use a bulleted list that focuses on the outcome for the contact, rather than just listing technical features.
Social Proof: Add testimonials, reviews, or "As Seen On" logos to build instant credibility with your audience.
The Conversion Goal: This is usually your lead-capture form or a prominent "Submit" button that tells the visitor exactly what to do next.
Lead generation landing pages are the "bread and butter" of marketing. The sole purpose of such page is to capture user data (usually an email address) in exchange for something valuable, known as a lead magnet.
Why landing pages are successful?
Higher Conversion Rates: By removing the distractions of your full website, you make it much easier for people to say "yes" to your offer.
Better Data Quality: Since you choose exactly which contact (or company) attributes to collect, your database stays organized and useful for future targeting.
Continuous Improvement: By using "A/B tests", your team can compare two versions of a page to see which headline or button color gets more clicks, ensuring you don't waste your ad budget on underperforming designs.
Automated Hand-offs: Once a form is submitted, the data can immediately trigger an action in the automation. (See “How to Trigger an Automation on Landing Page submit”) [LINK]
Go to “Website Experience“ → “Landing pages” section and click on “New landing page” button.
You build your page by dragging modules onto a canvas. To make a page functional, you must include at least one input field connected to a contact or company attribute and one "Submit" button.

A/B Testing: To find the best-performing version of your page, you can create a second version. Later you can compare the results based on statistics available in the LP profile.
You can also host a LP o your own domain to integrate it into you website and branding. [LINK]
Lead Generation: To grow your newsletter list, offer a valuable ebook for a new audience. When people sign up, send them an ebook and automatically add them to the list with the help of the automation flow.
Event Registration: To manage event sign-ups, build a page with a registration form. Use an automation triggered by the form submission to send a confirmation email and the meeting link automatically.
Ad Campaigns: To optimize your advertising spend, send ad traffic to a dedicated page instead of your homepage. Use "A/B Tests" to constantly refine the design until you reach your target conversion rate.
