Verify your contact lists and keep your email database healthy by connecting Bouncer directly to Positive User. This integration helps your team identify invalid or high-risk email addresses automatically so your emails land in the inbox, not spam. Before you start, make sure you have admin access to both your Positive User workspace and your Bouncer account.

Generate an API key for this integration in Positive User workspace. Go to “Workspace Settings” → “API & Integrations” → “Public API” and generate a new API key dedicated for this connection. More info about API keys management in “How to Create and Manage API Keys”.
Copy the name of your Positive User workspace domain. You can copy it right from the URL or from “Workspace Settings” → “API & Integrations” → “Setup & Integrations” section. It’s displayed in top right corner of the page (e.g. example.user.com).
Log in to your Bouncer account and navigate to “Integrations”. Select Positive User and paste your API key to connect two tools.
Once connected, you will be able to see your lists and segments in Bouncer app. First lists (alphabetically), then segments.
Automatically monitor and verify contact lists on an ongoing schedule to remove bad addresses before launching email campaigns.
Once connected, Bouncer can scan your existing contacts for issues.
In Bouncer, go to the "Verify List" section, choose your Positive User integration, and select the contact list or segment you want to monitor.
Configure how often Bouncer checks your contacts. You can verify the full list immediately, check new contacts every hour, or reverify existing contacts every set number of days.
Choose how Bouncer handles verification results by categorizing contacts: mark valid emails as "Keep", invalid or disposable addresses as "Suppress", and risky addresses as "Quarantine".
Track creation dates, last run times, and upcoming checks directly in your AutoClean dashboard. Your team can pause, edit, or run manual re-verifications at any time.
In Positive User dashboard you will find two new attributes:
Bouncer recommends (deliverable / undeliverable / risky / unknown)
Bouncer recommends updated at (datetime)
Regularly verifying and cleaning your contact list is essential for maintaining high email deliverability and protecting your brand's sender domain health. When you automatically filter out undeliverable, toxic, or high-risk email addresses, you prevent hard bounces and protect your sending reputation with major inbox providers.
A clean contact database leads directly to better campaign outcomes, including higher open and click rates, reduced spam complaints, and more accurate marketing analytics. By pairing Bouncer’s verification engine with Positive User automations, your team keeps your database fresh and healthy effortlessly, ensuring your emails reliably reach real people.
